Naramata Taxi

Kurt is the absolute king of the naramata bench. His knowledge about the history of the area, the wine industry, and the local vineyards is unparalleled. He spent 6 hours with my mom and I, driving us to 7 different wineries as well as showing us around the area while sharing anecdotes and stories about the people in the area that make up the history. From the founding of Naramata to the amount of berries the local bears consume, Kurt knows. You can ask him anything and if he doesn't have the answer (which i don't think is possible, the man is a walking encyclopedia) then he will know who to ask. He can make recommendations based on your specific tastes and takes you to hidden gems with an obvious passion and love for sharing the place he calls home. I brought my mother here for her 70th birthday and honestly Kurt made the trip. She was so delighted with him, his personable attitude, easy going nature and wealth of information that she told me that he, not the wineries, was her favourite thing about the trip! I would come back just to share Kurt with others, he was that amazing. He was on time (early!), courteous, kind, had a lovely sense of humour and sincerity about him that I genuinely appreciated. Don't hesitate to book him for a private tour of the area. He is better priced than the tour companies and way, way better value.

Fantastic wine tour! He was local and knew the history of the region. Great to support local but also, he knew how to fill our time between wine tasting bookings. great service and kind person. Would book again for sure!

We used Kurt's services a couple of times while we were in Naramata and have to say that he was super helpful. He even went as far as going into Pentiction to pick me up allergy medication after he dropped me off at my dinner reservation and didn't charge me extra. He has a bike rack so if you don't want to bike home after a day of wine tasting he can pick you and your bikes up.Thanks Kurt!

Best Taxi service in the penticton/naramata area! Kurt is very punctual, respectful and knows all the wineries in the area better than anyone. Professional driver and is a great human being in general. I would give him 10 stars if I could! I visit Naramata every year with my father and he has been or go-to guy for the last few years. We had an excellent experience with Kurt. He was flexible, accommodating, listened to our needs and helped put together a great little wine tour for the limited time we had. He’s passionate about the region, extremely knowledgeable and great company. Our plane was a bit late but he only charged us for the actually time he spent with us even though we’d booked him for longer. He’s clearly not in it for the money but for the love of the job and it showed. I highly recommend the Naramata taxi company.

Kurt has been great. He wisely advised us not to go to Myra Canyon during the wildfires due to the air quality and was super amenable about cancelling our booking at the last minute. We are happy to be using his services again and are would recommend Naramata Taxi!

Curt was so helpful! Picked us and our bicycles up in Naramata and delivered us to Myra Canyon. Interesting, intelligent and engaging guy - it was almost disappointing that our trip ended so soon at the trailhead.
